The Lot 4 aggregate occurrence is located on the eastern side of Tyllia Creek.

The area is underlain by granodioritic intrusive rocks of the Jurassic Island Plutonic Suite.

In 2002, the area was staked by S. Harvey with access roads being constructed over the next seven years to identify an area suitable for a rock quarry and sand/gravel pit. In 2010 and 2011, a reconnaissance level aggregate assessment was completed. This work indicated that aggregates produced from the rock on the property met or exceeded all CSA specifications for coarse concrete aggregate (Assessment Report 32763).
